Introduction
You will be researching one winter holiday. Your teacher will assign which holiday you will gather information on. Your job will be to persuade everyone to agree that your holiday is a GREAT holiday! Your facts should support why the holiday is great.
Hanukkah
Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday based around a tradition that is also called the Festival of Lights. Lasting for eight days, Hanukkah revolves around the lighting of a special candle holder called a Menorah that holds nine candles.

Kwanzaa
Kwanzaa is a 7 day festival celebrating the African American people, their culture and their history. It is a time of celebration, community gathering, and reflection. A time of endings and beginnings. Kwanzaa begins on December 26th and continues until New Years Day, January 1st.
